Sampler lets you capture your own instrument sounds or looped phrases
There are two different sampling modes on the Trackformer XW-PD1. Long Sampling mode allows you to capture four samples up to nine seconds long each, ideal for recording loops from your keyboard, microphone or other sound sources. Short Sampling mode lets you record up to 32 samples, each up to three seconds long - perfect for building your own construction kits. With Mic and Line inputs available, you've got a powerful sampler in your hands with the XW-PD1.
 
Comprehensive sequencer for arranging full songs on the fly
The step sequencer in the Casio XW-PD1 lets you create up to four groups of eight patterns with up to 16 measures each, enough for you to take an inspiring drum pattern or synth sound and flesh it out into a full song. The step sequencer allows you to save up to 50 user presets, and the phrase sequencer allows you to save 100 user presets. Create whenever inspiration strikes, save what you've got, and take it back to your studio for the final production.
