Eye-catching, Aggressive, and Eminently Playable
The Jackson Pro Series Monarkh SC Ash balances aggressive tone and eminent playability for modern guitarists. And thanks to its arched maple cap, it's supremely eye-catching as well. Its playability is fast and smooth thanks to its comfortable neck profile and compound-radius ebony fretboard. The tone is aggressive yet versatile, delivered by a pair of Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups. And you'll really dig the set-neck construction, which helps enhance your sustain and note definition. Whether you're after an agile instrument for melodic playing or a high-output guitar for grinding rhythms, you'll be impressed with the Pro Monarkh SC.
An aggressive, yet versatile pair of Seymour Duncan pickups
The Pro Monarkh SC is loaded with a set of aggressive, yet versatile Seymour Duncan humbuckers. The JB Model SH-4 bridge pickup supplies you with the classic sound of a hot-rodded humbucker, boasting plenty of output without sacrificing tone. Experience a powerful blend of harmonics, sustain, and distortion that's great for everything from heavy blues to heavy metal — with an emphasis on heavy! The '59 Model SH-1 neck pickup is Seymour Duncan's take on the classic Seth Lover PAF (Patent Applied For) humbucker, delivering a vintage-soaked sound reminiscent of late-'50s Gibson Les Pauls. The SH-1 sports a slightly more scooped midrange than the Seth Lover model and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.
Plays fast across the entire fretboard
As your playing speeds up, the Pro Monarkh SC won't get in your way. The compound-radius fretboard is rounder near the nut for easier chords, and it flattens out as you move up the neck for faster melodic playing. And you'll find it's comfortable to play up to the highest frets, thanks to the contour-cut heel, which helps you transition to the highest registers on the fretboard.
